Navigation is a senior showcase created by 20 designers, each contributing unique perspectives to a shared vision. This collection highlights our growth, creativity, and teamwork. These are a few of my contributions to the process that helped bring Navigation to life.

manifesto ──

“All designers come from a multitude of unique backgrounds as shone through our work.

Our personal connections with music, culture, dreams, and the sights and sounds around us all converge within our designs. Each and every one of us has a distinguishable voice. But what distinguishes us from one another is, in turn, what makes us so attuned.

The culmination of our academic careers at CSULB merely marks a waypoint on the expansive road ahead. The future beckons, and as designers we continue to venture into unexplored realms, anticipating the boundless possibilities that await our creative endeavors.

This is a look into our journey together with hope for what's to come.

This is our Navigation.”

I designed ID-style badges for the show, which served multiple purposes: they were featured on our website, included as a spread in the zine, and used as name tags worn by participants throughout the event.

All IDs contained names, show dates & location, and contact information (under contact and the QR-code).

The Zine was crafted around the theme of Past, Present, Future. Each student contributor tailored their designs to reflect this concept. My contributions focused on designing pages that captured the essence of the Present.

I created a two-page spread for the zine to highlight personal connections and engagement. One spread showcased our ID badges alongside objects associated with each individual, while the other featured everyone's favorite comfort foods paired with an interactive word search puzzle, inviting readers to connect with and learn more about the students.

Text on left page: Whether we' re dealing with stress at work, personal challenges, or just a tough day, there's something about comfort food that just hits the spot. Whether it's a warm bowl of soup on a cold day, a gooey chocolate chip cookie fresh from the oven, these comforting treats have a way of making everything feel okay. It’slike a little hug for our taste buds and our soul, helping us relax and find a moment of happiness amid the chaos.

I managed the planning and organization of layouts, schedules, and content for posts on the @csulb.gd Instagram account. Additionally, I designed the carousel template and created the rest of the posts to maintain a cohesive and engaging visual presence.

Carousel: With the theme of Past, Present, and Future, I decided to create a scrapbook-y look to stitch all the posts together.
(1) Portrait & name of individual  (2) User Contact  (3) User Q&A  (4) Showcased Work  (5) Showcase Details
Each carousel has a unique background of their name spelled out and a song that resonates with them.
